ITS SIMPLE REALLY. EVERYONE DESERVES TO HAVE FUN.

Access & Inclusion Policy

“What’s the Point If We Can’t Have Fun?”

- David Graeber

Whatever event we're working, everyone there deserves to have fun. No matter their socio-economic status. No matter their identity. Doesn't matter whose event it is — the same standard applies to every guest we serve.

1. Non-discrimination

We don't discriminate as a service provider or as people. Whether we're crewing a wedding, a festival, a corporate do, or a private party, every guest gets the same standard of service from us regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, religion or belief, pregnancy/maternity, or marriage/civil partnership status. This applies no matter what the client's event looks like or who's on the guest list. Any crew member found discriminating against a guest, client, or colleague faces disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the crew.

2. Pricing & financial access

Cost shouldn't decide who gets to hire us. We commit to:

  • A sliding-scale rate for select services, based on the client's ability to pay, with no proof-of-income requirement beyond a simple self-declaration.

  • Payment plans available on request.

  • A number of subsidised or free bookings per year for community groups, charities, or organisers who couldn't otherwise afford our services.

  • No hidden fees — full pricing disclosed upfront so clients can budget accurately.

3. Physical & sensory accessibility

We show up ready to serve disabled and neurodivergent guests, whatever the venue or event. We commit to:

  • Reviewing venue access ahead of each booking (step-free routes, accessible toilets, parking) and flagging any known barriers to the client and their guests in advance.

  • Offering a quiet/low-stimulation space where the venue and event format allow it.

  • Providing accessible formats on request — large print, easy-read, or digital versions of any information we hand out on-site.

  • Arranging BSL interpretation or captioning for our service elements when requested, with reasonable notice.

  • Allowing assistance animals and carers/PAs at no extra charge, at any event we're working.

4. Staff conduct & complaints

Every crew member represents this policy at every event, regardless of who's hosting. We commit to:

  • Briefing all crew on this policy before each job, including how to make reasonable adjustments on the spot for guests they didn't plan for.

  • Training crew leads to recognise and de-escalate discriminatory behaviour from guests, clients, or other third parties, and to prioritise the safety of the person affected.

  • A clear, confidential way for any guest, client, or crew member to raise a complaint with our director Tee Butler via phone or email — with a response within 48 hours.

  • No retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

  • Reviewing this policy at least annually, incorporating feedback from clients, guests, and crew across the events we work.
